Remy's Mental Machinations

So this is being done as a commission for a dear friend of mine. Lord knows he deserves it. This is done in Copic markers on a 11x17 bristol board. As you see it's not done, however here are the steps. I'll post it when I am done.

So I was treating this like a serious piece and in my mind it was epic...and now it's not. However, it's hilarious is a dumb way. I love BPRD and Hellboy! They have the best stories! So this is a funny one... cause they are all serious...and the vampire is right behind them. Waka waka waka!! I laughed, I always do... Makes me want to put it on the fridge! HUGE: 14x20 bristol, mixed media: Sharpies, Tombows and a white pencil.

So I am getting ready for SDCC, which is basically the best four-6 days of my life. I say six cause there is prep night, preview night and Monday to recover. I am fortunate enough to have a chance to sell some stuff at a booth thanks to a very dear friend. So I have a month to compile a sketchbook, business cards and some fresh new art. Oooooo yay! This is my first finished piece for San Diego Comic Con International. P.S. The scan took so much out of this image I had to make out with Photoshop to make it look some what decent. Love my scanner for line art... colored stuff: nope.

Doing some zombie concepts for a friend's video game demo. I will probably be posting more zombies sketches in a couple of days. Yay! I really liked how the zombie assortment sketch turned out. I'm not used to drawing a whole bunch of people on a page.
